APY Stands for Atal Pension Yojana. This scheme was launched by the Central Government in May 2015. In this scheme, you will get pension every month in your old age.
The main objective of the Atal Pension Yojana is to protect the people working in the unorganized sector by giving them monthly income at the time of their old age, when the elderly people are not able to earn more.
The best benefit of this pension is that if a pensioner dies due to any reason, then the benefit of all pension will be given to his parents and children.
Under this scheme, any citizen of India, who is in the age group of 18 to 40 years, can avail of this benefit.
