Based on the title, it's evident that this technical guide pertains to BitLocker. One day, while attempting to encrypt my external HDD with BitLocker, the encryption process became stuck midway. I made several attempts to restart and resume the process, but it didn't proceed.

I put in a lot of effort researching for a solution to this problem, but I couldn't find any information, neither on the web nor in YouTube videos.

Subsequently, I decided to take matters into my own hands and tried various HDD repair software. Fortunately, I found one software that did the job and prevented my data from being lost.

What is Bitlocker?

BitLocker is a system software (tool) that comes with Windows, which allows you to encrypt devices like pen drives, hard drives, and more by setting a password. This ensures that no one can access or use your important data without your permission.

What is Bitlocker Encryption?

BitLocker is a full-disk encryption feature included in various versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11. It's designed to enhance the security of data on a computer or external storage device (such as a USB drive or an external hard drive) by encrypting the entire disk.

How to fix Bitlocker encryption process?

I used specialized software for corrupted hard drives to stop the BitLocker encryption process on my HDD, and then I turned off BitLocker. I understand that, like me, you also want to fix your stuck HDD and save your data.
